By accessing or using PatchNotes ("the Service"), operated by Naptown Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
PatchNotes is an AI-powered changelog generator that connects to your GitHub repositories, analyzes commits and pull requests, and generates human-readable changelogs. The Service is available under Free, Pro ($12/mo), and Team ($24/mo) plans.
You must provide a valid email address and authorize GitHub access to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
By connecting your GitHub account, you grant PatchNotes read-only access to your repository data including commits, pull requests, and release information. You may revoke this access at any time through your GitHub settings.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: reverse engineering the AI generation system, attempting to circumvent usage limits, using the Service for any unlawful purpose, or interfering with the Service's infrastructure.
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
You retain full ownership of your repository data and generated changelogs. PatchNotes retains ownership of the Service, its code, design, and AI models.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Naptown Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the settings page, which will remove all your stored data.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
